This guy is right around the corner from my office.

I see the car there all the time but I've never been in the shop (yet). Anyone from Driver's Image post here?

The car is for sale and, no, I have no contact or association with the owner. I just thought someone might be interested in checking out the car. I can't say I'm a big fan of what they did to it but oh well.

 

its pretty hard to make such a good looking car look so terrible.

 

I like everything about it except for the piano straped to the back.

 

I'm not digging the whaletail either.

 

I believe they sold the coupe and now have a yellow 350z vert.

 

Based on their show car, I wouldn't take my car there...

 

Too much yellow... and that hood reminds me of a skunk.

 

The rims don't look right... the chrome center with the yellow spokes just don't do it for me.

 

I like everything about it except the color, hood, wheels & body kit. Looks like a freakin bumble bee.

 

I dunno if this is what they meant by "yellow fever" ...

 

Some of their other cars are a bit nicer. I've never spoken to them or been to their shop even though they're on the same block as my office.

They do have a 350ZR now and I think it's yellow, too.

I'm still curious if any of them post here.

 

Just because you don't like their taste doesn't mean they don't do good work.

WashUJon- do you still have a Z? I like driver's image's roadster better then the coupe. I think their are some pics of it on www.chicagoZ.com

 

I've seen the 350zR in person and it looks A LOT better than their coupe. I saw the roadster outside as I passed by the shop, and then saw it again that same day driving the other direction I was going. I guess not everybody is feeling the rims on it, but I think they're hott.

 

Can u snap some pix of the yellow roadster? That car needs black rims. And i think its REALLY CHEESY everytime someone repaints a car and paints the door trim with it... its like u got lazy or something.

I imagine they worked hard to do that, but it just looks pretty bad.

 

its better looking in person, but the roadster looks way better. The roadster won 1st at Hot Import Nites beating out the lambo orange coupe by a couple points. The lambo orange coupe is way hotter though.
