Question Buyer's Remorse?

Hi, guys. Everything going well? and especially with 'Z'omething sleeing in your garage?

I'm getting a PPW 350Z very soon.. in fact, next Wednesday Could'n be happier.

My only concern is that "Am I Getting Right Colored Z".
I haven't seen any PPW Z in person but I like White.
But Blue Z is growing on me... And it looks great.
(kinda.. looks more sharp and aggressive)

If I get PPW Z, I will definately have some kinda remorse...

What about you guys? Are You toally satisfied with the color of your Z? Any buyer's remorse? If you have seen any PPW Z, plz post your comment

Thanks.

Enjoy the white one, and admire the blue one.

My only concern is that "Am I Getting Right Colored Z".
I felt the same way. I preordered PPW with frost leather interior. During my waiting days, I've seen other colors that I thought look real nice (red and black). I received my car yesterday, and I love it. I got a lot of reassurance that its a really nice color. Depending on what kind of reaction you would want from the Z, will determine the color. If you want it to stand out and be loud, I say go for the blue. But, if you want it to look clean, yet still turn heads, then white is good. Now that I do have it and seen PPW, I wouldn't change it. Hope this helps

I wouldn't use the word "remorse", but I kinda know what you
mean about second-guessing on the color. I keep changing my
mind. I actually called my dealer the day before my order went in
to Nissan to change the color!

Recently I've realized that this car looks great in every color, so
I should stop worrying about it!

But the blue really does look sharp... Maybe it's not too late...

I started second guessing the color of my Z when I saw snoopyz's black Z. But the thing i am most concerned about are the amount of Zs on the road in the next 2-3 years.

Don't worry about the # or Z's on the road. The total production wordl wide is going to be 30k a year. When you see an older 300zx on the road it still looks cool 10 years later. If you wanted to be exculsive Nissan could cut production by half, but then you would pay double. Rember also, not everyone is going to want a 2 seat car in today world.

Default No 2nd guesses here

Definitely no second guesses here, even though I bought CS like just about everyone else!

I saw PPW up close in person a few months ago at NNA in Somerset, NJ and was surprised that it was more of a metallic white with a tinge of cream. I thought it would be a stark white, but it was nice and classy. Check out those pictures here.

Don't sweat the nerves you're feeling. Once you get the car, you'll feel a LOT better. And in the end, you'll be convinced that your initial instincts were correct, and that PPW is the color for you.

BTW, as an aside, at the Bob Sharp show today, there were about nine 350Z's there, and all of them were CS or Silverstone.

Default stay with PPW

I almost changed or sold my pre-order because i didn't think PPW would be as nice as Blue.. Boy was I wrong. PPW is amazing up close in personal... As you can see I'm very happy: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....&threadid=8225

Wink First Instinct....

Go with your first instinct. If you first thought PPW...go with it, you won't be disappointed.

I spent WEEKS agonizing over color and actually traveled top see every one in person before placing my order. My first reactiuon was to get LeMans Sunset. Then silver, then black, then red. I always ended up back with the Sunset. So I ordered it.

YOU know what you like!

Z on!
70 zcar (gold, stock)
78 zcar (blue, modified)
84 zcar (gray turbo, driver)
03 zcar (LeMans Sunset, Enthusiast, February!)

Go with the PPW. I'm ordering one and I love the color. It'll be relatively uncommon, so you won't have a silver car like everyone else (sorry, guys) and it'll be pretty easy to keep clean (as opposed to the darker colors).

I generally do not like white cars, and felt the same way about the Z....

But, after seeing it, I think it is a great color. I do not think you will be disappointed at all, just wait until you see it. Plus, in a few years I do not think you would feel the same about the blue....
