Blue and blue all the way through. Not a drop of purple. My bud's 2000 DK blue vette looks purple though.....

 

I was driving around tonight, and went to a fudruckers. At the fudruckers they had street lights that made my DB look purplish. I noticed it but maybe it was because i read this thread earlier, so i don't know if it was in my head or i was really seeing some purple. Either way DB is the best color.

I notice it most when I'm under flourescent lighting at a gas station and it's dark all around

 

By the sound of it, I need to get my eyes checked.......

 

I remember one time the white on the Corvette at night under the street light could look yellow at times.

Also I notice how the outside gas door paint sometimes look a shade off the rest of the 350Z color till you look at it from another view. Anyone else notice this on their 350Z?

 

Yes, probably because it's plastic and was painted at a different time than the body.

 

Yes, my 04 DB looks like purple at sunset.

 

Never noticed any blue. Maybe if it was nighttime under yellow lighting?

I like how it looks deep and dark at night under the off white parking lights.

I also notice the color difference between my rear bumper and the hatch from a 3/4's angle.
