Exclamation G35 Coupe or 350Z Touring? HELP

this is like the new "age old question". a g35 coupe or a 350Z? I'm getting a new car in 4 weeks, and i have narrowed it down to these two cars: a black on black G35 sport coupe with the 18" wheel package, spoiler, and sunroof (around $35,000). the second is a black 350Z touring with orange leather. i already posted a thread for the G35 forum, i wanna know some feedback from the Z owners and why you feel it would be better than a G? thanx

It depends on what type of driver you are I guess. The Z is the "driver's car" and the G35 is the practical car. I think the Z looks a lot better and drives much better. When I park next to my friend's G35 coupe, the Z would turn more heads.

I asked myself the same question and I choose the Z cause I wanted a more "pure" sports car... I actually like the fact that it is a two seater....I am never the DD

The 350Z does drive much better. The longer wheelbase and added weight (although the touring is a bit heavy compared to the other Z's too right?) decrease the amount of "fun" in the G35.

I must disagree with the turning heads, living in Southern California, the G35 coupe turns many more heads. That isn't to say the 350Z doesn't.

My dad has taken a keen interested in my G35 coupe.. And so I'm hoping to give it to him and get a 350Z track. The reason? I want two seats and minus 8" off my wheelbase along with 200 lbs. The G35 is much more practical I think, but I'm a kid ... so who cares. When deciding .. be sure to factor in everything.. Such as different drive styles, different emblems (Infiniti vs Nissan.. this is a big deal to the non-car enthusiast), different number of seats, sunroof option, the list goes on. Try to have a list of what you're looking for.. buy the car with more things on that list.
