Z owners who have NO tire feathering check in here
#35
I brought my car in for normal service with almost 14k miles on it. Got a call from the serv dept and they said they were ordering me new tires for the feathering prob. I didn't even notice a problem!!
So if you only have 5k miles on it and don't notice a prob....don't think it's skipped you just yet!

04 performance, no tire feathering. I run the recommended pressure, 35PSI* all around.
You guys should indicate your tire pressures...
*Suggested pressure indicated is for cold, range goes from 35psi at startup to around 38-39psi average highway/city driving.

03 Performance Pre-2000 VIN.
No feathering but, significantly more wear on the insides due to negative camber.
Changed from stock RE40s to Toyo Proxies T1-S at 20,000 miles. Changed rears at about 35,000, premature wear from installing downsprings and not doing alignment for somewhere between a month to a month and a half for settling. At 44,500 miles and expect to change all four again at 55,000 to 60,000 miles.
Two four-wheel alignments done, one at about 20k miles at dealership who outsourced to Sears, another done at independent shop at about 35k miles. I try to keep the tire pressure at recommened spec 35 psi and will check pressures once every month or every other month.
The Z is a daily driver on freeways, local roads and through canyons. I do canyon runs about 3-4 times a year and aggressively drive the car when possible.
