The Evo is a nice car. Well, it's a cheap car made fast and expensive, but the overall look is nice (when compared to the regular lancer).
I know it's faster the the Z, but i'm glad i bought a Z in the end and not the Lancer, I have never trusted Mitsubishi as far as long-term reliability.

 

If some strapped a rocket to a piece of **** would you race it?

 

I have an Evo and a Z.... the Evo's for sale, not the Z.

 

I unno... I raced a STOCK evo from a roll... and I was pulling away... and ive done this twice... also from the drag strip... it seemed like I Was catching up to it...

 

If you think the Evo right now is bad.. Wait until the Evo MR comes out.. It's gonna be so hot (performance wise).

 

I think the EVO kicks ***. I was actually going to buy one, but there was an 8K mark up at the time when I was shopping for a car. Its different quality than other Mitsubishi cars.

 

Don't feel bad... in the end your car is 10 times sexier

 

bhk1004 is right it probably had mods ...i've beaten 2 stock evo's from a roll at 30 miles an hour.some guy at work and a buddy of mine have evos, the interior screams cheap ,but anyway you should be able to beat the evo from a roll we have more low end torque ...i hang out at evo forums once in a while and they'll even admit it.from a stop they'll kill us but from a roll we own them..until the MR comes out at least.If you don't believe me look at any performance mags look at the street start 5 to 60. O yea have a little more confidence when you run against an evo, without the awd its just a lame lancer with mods

 

Okay I did forget to mention a couple things...

1) I had a passenger...he didn't

2) I had the AC on.

Okay that's all.

Well....one more thing...I do weigh...er'hem..*cough* 300lbs....*eh*...*cough*.

I think it's a misconception that EVO has poor relability. It's quality is better than any other Mitsu cars. Especially, better than any mitsu that build in IL.

 

Well. If Mitsubishi the company, keeps having financial problems. You wont have to worry to much longer about the EVO.

 

Only ricers pat themselves on the back and say they have the better looking car when they lose. It's so they can always feel like winners. Whatever it takes to keep the cognitive dissonance chugging along.

Instead of saying, that car is fast and beat me, good job, one posts up reliability, corporation financial troubles and additional weight due to passangers. Weaksauce.

This place sounds like the corvetteforum.

 

The EVO is fast. It's also one of the ugliest cars on the road.
