nice finish on the driver's side, crappy on the passenger's side, too much folded leather in some angles which make it looks crappy~

the best one i've seen is the blue/black match some one did a while ago~there's still a picture of it, where is it?

Those are my seats, so thanks for the kind words. That's what I love about this site. And before you start with the "well he asked our opinion..." line, this picture was supposed to go into another Thread as someone had requested a picture. Victor did me a favor and hosted it on his site and linked to the other thread. As he usually does, he decided to go above the call of duty and posted the pictures so other people could see them. Contrary to popular belief people post pictures to help people out. I doubt anyone ever posted a picture with the hope that people will use words like "cheap" and "crappy" to describe something they just spent money on.

FYI, the seats are 5 days old. They both looked the same when I picked the car up. The passenger seat has been sat in for a total of about 15 minutes, while the driver seat has been sat in for about 15 hours. It's like a wrinkled shirt - the leather has to "stretch and settle". The person that installed them has been doing upholstery for over 20 years and has an excellent reputation. I have seen the work he has done on a Ferrari and on several BMWs and Mercedes (including a Gullwing!!!). He knows a hell of a lot more about upholstery than you ever will. If you don't like the color, that's great. If you don't like perforated leather, well congratulations. But I get sick of seeing post after post of people insulting pictures that people post to help out. If you don't like something, just move on, or learn to be diplomatic in your criticism!

Oh and one more thing: PhoenixINX on the car that you photoshopped the Front End on, maybe you can photoshop Uncle Bens Rice across the front of it or across the hood! I think the car looks like crap and if anyone would sell a front end like that, it would be Pepboys or JC Whitney. By the way the answer to your question of "How many views??? And NOOOOO comments????" - is because people were being nice and keeping the commentsto themselves. I wanted to post that it looked like crap after seeing the car, but I didn't want you to feel bad.

If it makes you feel any better, I think it looks great. I will probably be doing something similar except blue leather to match my daytona blue exterior.

The seats look very nice - the driver's seat is right on!!!!
There is a slight rippling in the passenger's seat and I've noticed
a bit of it in most aftermarket covers. This may work out in time or
may even get worse depending on what's causing it. If it becomes a problem or you anticipate a problem you can add "batting" which comes in a roll and puts a bit extra padding in those areas which are prone to wrinkle. I wish Nissan had allowed a few more interior options like the red/black.

I think it looks really nice and very classy, especially with the red stitching.

And I don't get how people can call this rice, red seats have been in sports cars for generations - the Ferrari Enzo also has red seats, so would you consider that rice also?

My only complaint is that there's no red anywhere else in the cabin. Usually cars with red seats have some kind of other red accents, like door panel inserts or carpet or something to "tie-in" the red seats he rest of the interior. But I guess you could always add stuff like that later, though.

Also, I wonder how it would look if you did the driver's seat "crotch rest" in black...

I think the seats look great now and will serve you well in the future. Sounds like a reall professional put them in for you. I would be very please to have those in my CS when I get it, only maybe black/blue.
