So sorry to hear this. The Z is a pretty heavy car, and to be pushed 300 feet broadside, that Chevy must have been moving. So sad. ZRA.

No, Tere's fine--this happened in Arlington (not far from me) and Tere's in San Antonio. Last I read, the kid that didn't make it was only 11. I really hope they catch that asswipe of a drunk driver.

Default Dog food.

Unbelievable.

Too bad the dogs didn't find this guy. Maybe the cops would have let the dogs have an evening meal.

Yeah, that must be the case...otherwise they'd nab the guy already. Somebody know's something, that's for sure...unless that truck was stolen, they'll track them down real quick.

Default Local reports

From what I am hearing locally is that the truck was the female passengers parents truck and the guy was her friend. They had been drinking and he drove.

The rest is bad as you know.

Thing is the girl is playing dumb to the cops by saying she doesn't know who was driving. I say lock her A$$ up too.

Well on the 5 o'clock Fox 4 news they recently found out that the driver was 32 year old Michelle Hughes and the white male seen running from the scene was bogus. They caught up with her in the hospital and she said she was a passenger but they found out otherwise. She was charged with a few counts and she remains in the hospital under police custody with a 100,000 bail.

"zmannn: If we went after drinkers and driving while drunk the way this culture has obsessed with going after smokers, we just might see less of this kind of tragedy. "

That is SO true. It shows how F'ed up our society is. In the end... it all comes down to $$$$$$, just like everything else.

I'm glad they caught this waste of space, and I hope she doesn't see the light of day again. I'm sure they will eventually let her out of jail because they won't have the $$$$$$$ to keep her there very long. I would gladly pay extra taxes to make sure the person who did this is never a free person again. When you take someones life due to your own negligence, GAME OVER!

So sad.

That's very sad and my heart really goes out to the family of the victims. I will place a black ribbon on my shifter for them
