I'd liike ZISME's opinion, but if any of you have a suggestion please feel free to ring in. I'm still worried about going to 17's because wont this screw up the VDC? I mean, if you look at the packages, VDC only comes with the 18's...maybe because it is not calibrated for the 17's which with the tire are very close in diameter in the front as the 18's but are smaller in the rear.

I have called both Nissan USA and Nissan Canada asking them what winter tires they are recommending for the performance 18" non rays. They have no clue. The closest match I have found is Pirelli 235/40/18 front and 245/45/18 rear.
I am concerned though that the VDC will think that my front tires are spinning (as they will be a bit smaller diameter) and mess everything up.
There is also a tire in a 245/40/18 front and 245/45/18 rear which is a closer match diameter wise. Or there is the option of going 225/45/18 all around which is the most practical winter option (narrower the better in winter), but I would still be worried about the computer getting messed up with this option. What do you suggest I do? The G35C Performance package also comes with the same size tires as the Z so I wonder why no one has made a winter pair to match.
Please provide a suggestion of what size to use.
