Default Sport Z's 3 HOT Mods !

Just got finished reading the 3 HOT 350Z Mod's article in SZM. So basically with these 3 mods and $1500 you'll get 19.5 extra HP & another 17.1 lb-ft of torque over stock. Probably equaling or surpassing any HP gains that the 35 AE or 05 track model will come with when it's released ?? I bet these coming models will sell for far more then an extra $1500. Interesting don't ya think ?
Mod's:
CAI
Plenum
exhaust
PS. Just the intake and plenum alone will get you an extra14.1 HP & 15.2 lb-ft of torque. Does anybody think that the 35 AE will come with 20 or more HP? I hope not

I'd rather get a ECU, since the stock ECU would nullify any of the mods

So
ECU $500
Intake $300
Borla exhaust $700

This is 19 wheel rated hp right? The new Z has to get like 25+ bhp to equal it. But the question is.. What if you did the same to the new AE.

How would the ECU nullify all other mods?

** Supposedly **, if you believe what those who claim to have inside information are saying, the 35'th Anniv. Z will only get a bump to about 300 hp. Again, if you believe the reports, it's Nismo addons so it's probably CAI and Exhaust.

I guess the big question would be - is there an ECU difference or not?

I don't have a copy of the article here at work but if I remember correctly they were the Injen CAI, the Crawford Plenum and the Stillen exhaust.

It doesn't. It's been discussed at great lengths. The ECU does, however, adjust to your mods to keep A/F in line, etc. It takes 150 miles once the ECU's been reset.
