hey if the base is auto-adjusted (AudioPilot noise compesation technology by Nissan) due to ambient noise background then to shut it off, something can be slapped on the microphone that picks up all the noise. But where is its location?
I believe its under the hood close to the firewall.
ne1 has tried this idea yet? just set the base level to your like and cover the highly sensitive microphone with a cloth tape![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
your thoughts???

I remember a thread a while ago when someone posted pics of the interior, with the microphones highlighted. Damned if i know where that thread is now
Maybe a search will turn something up. Good luck

Here's that thread:

Unplugging the mic did no good. The TSB regarding the Bose fix should be the dealers in a couple weeks.

My E-Mail from NNA --
"The Bose issue is not unheard of and there is a fix in testing right now. Check back with me in the next three weeks or so, and I should have better information for you".
My advice, make an official (in writing) complaint to your Dealer or Zone, because if Nissan makes a 'silent' bulletin on this issue, those who haven't complained are assumed to be satisfied, and they will not get the fix.
