Default Kinetix HF cats RASP

Hey guys, Im curious......

Do any of you get a Raspy sound with your Kinetix cats? I get the sound @ 1/2+ Throttle, when the car is still reaching operating temperature..While it does get on my nerves, I actually LIKE it at the same time (because it, in a sense, lets me know when the engine has reached operating temp). As soon as the engine is warmed up (about 5 minutes after startup), the Rasp goes away and doesnt return. ......I only ask because it didnt do this at first. The Cats have been on for about 6 weeks, and The rasp has only been happening, maybe the last week or so........

my friend has crawfords and he says that the same thing happens to him.... raspiness until the cats warm up, then they are fine.

I have never heard of much rasp with kinetix. the biggest problem with rasp in cats seems to be the r/t cats

I have the KINETIX High-Flow Cats and I know exactly what u are talking about...I start the car and about up to 3000 RPM there is an awesome sound rasp sound, when u know the car is fully warmed up it runs fine...That is normal, so ur good to go!

Hm, I had kinetix cats and I could hear rasp before AND after warm up... Guess that is my luck though. Got the crawfords and had no rasp from those at any time.
