Default Airbag switch and factory warranty

I am in the same boat as everyone else. I have a 5 1/2 year old little girl and WILL NOT put her in this care without the switch. Delaer gave me wrong info 3 times about installation of the switch. The last word from them was to get permission from NHTSA and then send that to NNA. Once they got the form they would sell me the switch and provide a list of AUTHORIZED installers.

Well they left out one thing!! There are no NNA authorized installers and NNA is telling me that if I install the switch it voids any warranty on the airbag and any damage that may be caused to the electrical system of the car.

I lhave had this car for less than a month and just love the car. But I love my daughter more and will not put her in the car without the switch. But if installing the switch voids the warranty who pays if improper installation fries the CPU??

This BS that Nissan gives you is exactly why I went with Sensible Solutions. They warranty their work, and they'll put the switch wherever you want. It's a little larger than the factory setup, but I didn't mind. The install is great, and totally invisible when the console door is shut. Think of this just like any other mod you might do to your car. Mod parts aren't factory parts, why does this have to be? Let me know if you want pictures of my install and I'll post a link.
