Default Hopefully a new Z owner!

Just became a member not too long ago. Wanted to see what Z owners thought of their car. I filled out my pre-approval letter and sent it in. I was going to trade it in for my 03 CL-S but I was gonna be upside down $6k cuz of the high mileage on it (61K) so I decided to trade in my wife's car (Tiburon GT , 33K miles) and be upside down $3k. Hopefully tommorrow I'll be joining you all in praising the Z. Anyone here ever deal with Autoway Nissan in Brandon, FL? I never heard of a dealer taking more than a couple hours to pre-approve.

Hope you pre-approve! You'll have tons of fun in your new Z. What color/model/year?

After hours of negotiations, I finally got my Z! It's not the white or blue I was going for. I got the orange, or Lemans Sunset. Cant take it to its limit yet since it's still in the break-in period but the dealer took me on a ride on one of the Performance models with the Nismo pkg. and...my god...it's quick! I couldnt believe it came with a shift light and a timer. Anyways, I'll probably be coming into this website more often for tips and advice.

Hey - great to hear you got your Z - - I bought mine from Ferman in Tampa - - I've bought cars from Brandon Nissan before, but not since the name change - their service used to be pretty good. There is a Z club that meets at Autoway pretty regularly, ask your salesperson - - -

Follow the break-in suggestions - - It will help you to avoid transmission trobles, etc

Good Luck and enjoy your Z

Steve

The sticker was 29,900 but got it for 28,750. I asked for 28,500 but he couldnt go down anymore due to the aero package. I didnt have to pay all of the taxes since I traded in another car. They'll be more willing to work with you if they have the car in their lot too. I originally wanted a blue or white. I hope this helps.

The club was there when I went in. Saw some pretty nice mods. I didnt get the car from Autoway though. The salesman was ok but it didnt work out. The hurricane was coming and I had to go. I got my car from Courtesy Nissan since they gave me the numbers I wanted.

Courtesy Nissan is pretty good, they always seemed to be pretty straight with me when I was shoping for my Z - - I went with Ferman because when I ordered it they were the only dealer not adding a $3000 premium to the sticker - - I paid full sticker though, didn't want to wait a year

How long until you start adding mods - lol
