Officially joined the family ... I just took delivery of my 2005 Ultra Yellow Enth.
Very happy with my purchase.
2005 Enthusiast 6MT
Ultra Yellow
Alum. Kick Plates
Aero Pack
Cargo Pack
Trunk Mat
No other (unnecessary) options.
I got it from Superior Nissan in Puente Hills. Great folks out there -- very attentive. I recommend them.
I will post picks tomorrow -- too dark to take them now.
I already have a set of SSR Comps coming from Tire Rack (18 x 9 (f) and 18 x 10.5 (r)) w. Kuhmo MX's (265/35 front - 295/35 rear)
Can't wait to get through break-in. I plan to keep it under 4k rpm until 1200 miles -- then swap out the oil (w. Mobile 1). Then let her rip. Basically following the same break-in procedure as I did for my M3.
BTW, am I the first Ultra Yellow?

The M was too expensive and heavy for me to justify tracking it. I was always worried about it.
I decided a better avenue for me was to got with a Z and later get something like the new Xterra as a daily driver (I want a truck to take to the mountains). Basically for the monthly payment and insurance on the M -- I can get a Z and an Xterra.
The M is hands down a better overall car -- the SMG, the high reving engine, the tricked out differential, etc. -- all make it a bit more competent overall. But ... it is not $30k better. Not even close.
I like the Z as a project car. Wheels will be first. Next week I plan to get a Stoptech four wheel kit -- then I am track ready.
After that - Nismo supension and sways, Nismo Exhuast, and Nismo LSD will be added (and in that order).
BTW, once I have all these mods (mostly the LSD, suspension, lighweight wheels, and brakes) -- I am pretty sure I will be able to post lap times on par with my (bone stock) M3. But I will still be $20k cheaper than the M.

Whether you are the first ultra yellow or not welcome to Z family. I love yellow too I had it on my 2001 Mustang GT lease and would have loved it on the 350Z too, but found out after I order my 2004 Daytona blue which I really love anyway.

On my way back from Superior -- I saw a new Mustang GT (w. Mich Manufacturer's plates and some telemetry equipment on it). I twas Silver - Grey with red interior. I looked great. Huge upgrade from the current (hideous - IMHO) Mustang. Looked very retro -- but awesome!

Do some research on Z33 suspension's, while the S-tune is a great effort by the Factory, the aftermarket does field some superior choices.
I'd love to see pics of your new Z

its true about the whole M3 thing...if i wouldn't have purchased my Z i would have kept saving to purchase an M3. They both have speed beauty and class ...thats what i was looking for when purchasing the Z and i have a feeling most Z fans like the M3,those M3's are killer
