I've seen a lot of pictures of the paint protection on the bumper and hood, but I haven't seen any closeups of the 40 mil material that goes on the headlights. Does anyone have a pic? How does it look? How closely does it follow the edge of the platic lens cover?
Thanks,
Mika
No picture, but it looks fine, exact dimensions of headlight cover, minus .025 all around. Can't hardly see it. Break a headlight at $500 per pop and you will have them on right away.
I'd be concerned about the heat from the Xenons burning or yellowing the film. This could be more hassle than just risking the headlights not being damaged, IMO.

i have the kit... looks great, and hardly noticable. i dont think the headlight lens itself gets too hot... i mean the xenon light itself is behind that tiny slit. now if you had 85W halogens 3 inches from the glass, that would cause concern.
the kit comes with $1000 warranty against headlight breakage. this basically would cover the price of the headlight (or cover your insurance ded.)..
heres a bad pic with some woman with awful nail polish but you get the idea. I havnt heard of any problems specificaly with xenons. In any case they offer a $1000 guarentee against any damage to your headlights while using theyre headlight protection.
