I have an '04 roadster with feathering and had to pay $600 out of my pocket for new tires and alignment. My tires were bald on the inside edges by 10K miles. Be sure to document everything with your feathering (phone calls, service appointments, etc.) and take photos. Nissan will eventually have to deal with this issue and when they do, go after them for reimbursement.
