Please see the clips (3 angles) in picture attached.
I can not get a picture of the clips behind the grille, can not get camera back there.
All you do is put the new grille up to the OME grill and clip together from behind. I think I used approx. 8 clips.
Hope this helps.

You may want to consider leaving the OME grill, you can put the new grill on and off to change the look if you feel like it, and being able to remove new grill might make it more attractive to a future buyer.
With my style grill, you can not see the stock grill.
with the stock grill removed, the grills are usually installed similar to aftermarket bumpers... i've seen some where they epoxy little metal clips (almost like twist ties) and then lay the grill on from behind and hold it on using those clips... and other times, the entire grill is laid on from behind, then it's epoxied right to the back of the bumper.

kshep do you have any pictures of the bumper on the car? that is exactly how i've been thinking i want to do mine. i dont like the mesh grills that sit out far so the way yours is is a lot cooler imo.
You should be able to get the mesh from local hardware stores. I got some for my old car from a local metals shop, they had quite a few different styles and sizes (size of the holes in the mesh), and in big sheets so you can cut it to shape that you need.

I have the same setup you do on my roadster -- Stillen mesh grille plus a Zee-Bracket over-the-grille front plate mount. I really like the way it looks, but...
When I took the roadster to the track in June with just the front plate (no grille yet) in front of the radiator, the engine stayed cool as a cucumber over all 5 heats. When I returned in September (same tight course, similar ambient temps) with the plate =and= grille in front of the radiator, the engine overheated on the 2nd heat!
On the street, my engine always stays cool, with or without the plate + grille in place.
Moral: On track days, remove the front plate to improve radiator air flow. On the street, the engine cools well enough with the grille and plate in place.
This might be an argument for removing the original grille, which must add to the air flow restriction.
