i cut out the oem grille and somewhat flattened the stillen grille. and it no longer has the curve that other stillen grilles have. oh yeah, and the grille is powdercoated gunmetal, to match the rims that i no longer have.

i used very small black zip ties. i drilled holes on the inner edges of the bumper just big enough to sneak the small zip ties through. because of the black on black the zip ties can hardly be seen. infact, most people never see them until i tell them that they are there. i think i used 6 or 8 evenly spaced out zip ties. the mesh fits tight against the inner bumper with no gaps at all.

vice86 is right about the home depot mesh material. it won't rust because it is aluminum but it will dull in appearance. other than that, it is decent stuff. maybe i should have cleared coated it. anyway, i ordered the wings west signature mesh grill to replace my current grill. i will probably attach it the same way to both my bumpers. i have a CF nismo replica on the way. i will run two bumpers, one for everyday driving and one for show. sorry i have no close up pics. but if you go to my 350zonline gallery (link below) there is at least one pic that if you enlarge it you could see that the zip ties are nowhere to be seen and the install looks clean.
