"Demand is so strong for the new 350Z that inventory is at a six-day supply, while the auto industry considers 60 days to be "normal."
Most of the first 8,000 built were presold to consumers who never saw one, much less had a chance for a test drive, said company officials. And despite the popularity, the supply will be kept at 30,000 units annually, even when a convertible is added next spring.
As to a rumored 300-plus horsepower version for 2006 as a companion to the current 3.5-liter, 287 hp V-6 Z, no one would comment."
Do we have something special coming in a few years?
