Love the color! Hate the wheels! Too bubbly for me. Kind of like an Audi TT. So how fast is it? How many HP? 0-60? Quarter mile?

Hate the wheels

Love the blue color

My neighbor has a white SC430. I'll try to get some pics of it beside my Z when it comes in (maybe Monday ).

I noticed people on your street park on wrong side of the road. Why is that?

My guess: They are trying to diminish the power of the Rally Monkey!

Scoflaws!!!!

Good luck in tomorrows game Tim!

He only got his car on Wednesday. He's considering the single plate plan. I requested no mounting bracket on my Z but the dealer had selective hearing.

No orange peel on the Lexus. Smooth as a baby's butt.

Hey Jeff. Congrats on the Angel's win tonight. Awesome. Truth be told, I'm pulling for them. I was the quietest guy at Pac Bell on Thursday night.

Yeah, that's an awesome shade of blue. Sure wish the Z came in that color. And gun metal (a bit darker than Silverstone).

Hey, I wonder if we were to submit a "most wanted future colors" poll to Nissan, whether they'd produce it in 04.

If not, there's always MAACO.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the note "He sold his Porsche Boxster S for the Lexus."? This guy must have a strange taste in cars, and obviously does not want a true sports car. If he has already had a Boxster, and gives that away for this SC430, then his opinions on cars are going to fall on deaf ears, in my opinion. And by the way, the Z has it all over the Lexus looks-wise, especially those weird *** wheels.

Hey now.. chill dude. Toyota builds awesome cars, and Lexus is one of the best luxury brand marquee's. I prefer it in many ways over BMW and Mercedes (service, build quality, quality of materials used). The SC430 doesn't look all that great but it's a nice grand tourer and is gorgeous inside...I love the white leather w/ the light wood contrast trim.

LOVE the blue. If the Z came in that blue I would have broken my tradition of owning red cars and gotten that blue instead.

I do have to say though, as far as the SC430 goes, I've seen a few on the road (I've seen more of them than Z's!) and the lines just don't do it for me. ALso those rims are just plain ugly.

Default Can't believe it

Now this doesnt go to everyone here, but i can't believe that some people are trying to say that the z is better than the lex in any way. The lexus has the z beat in probably every statistic and category, so please, do not try to justify the z being better than the lex in any way. WAAAA

SKRIBSTANG, can you do anything besides try to start flame wars? If you don't like the Z that much then go back to the Stang boards. We don't want your attempts at starting a flame war. Yes the Z is better than the lex in certain areas and yes, the lex is better than the Z in certain ways. Not to mention you say every statistic in every category, I'm beginning to think that you are one of the fabled magazine racers. Have you been in either car? Have you ridden in either car? Even better, have you actually ever DRIVEN either car? I wouldn't make such general statements such as yours if I didn't have solid personal evidence to back it up.

Holy automatic, Batman!

Very good point Ice. Jeff is the first to admit he's not a sports car guy. To emphasize the point, he ordered both cars with automatics. He likes having nice toys. At 58, his sport's car days are behind him.

I agree with droidekaus -- it's a girly car. It's an interesting
color, but only for someone with shoes to match.

Just one MAN's opinion.

I have to say you still have the best looking car on the block, if those are the choices. I do NOT like that Lexus design.

Different strokes, I suppose.

The lexus is not as noticable as the Z.
