Best Z service in/near Seattle???
Dear Seattle Z or Nissan Folks,
I live near greenlake and would really like to hear great things about Burien or Lynnwood or ? Nissan Service. I'm trying to avoid having to travel down to Fife - which is my current first choice based on peoples comments and their 'star' rating.
In short, where are you planning to take your Z for service? I have some annoying problems I'd like looked at by experts - not just a routeen (sp?) oil change.
Thanks so much,
goracer.

I bought my Z from the Lynnwood dealership.
I had my right passenger sun visor replaced, and though it took a while to get here, they installed it likety split.
I also had them bleed the brakes, and they weren't too bad there either. They only have one guy that's a "trained" 350Z technician. I don't think he (or others) seem to be Z fanatics though.
I'd like to hear other thoughts on Seattle service shops for da Z. I hear Nissan is opening a new dealership on the east side in Bellevue? Anyone know more about that?

It would be really nice to have another Nissan dealership in bellevue, I had my 300ZX's serviced there for years..they were excellent to me..there was an awesome mechanic there too...when "melody's" closed bellvue nissan and kirkland nissan with alittle prompting from the IRS and $ probs I was upset. I too would like to find a "Z" person to service my car...the old mechanic that was so gifted I believe now works in overlake at a japanese auto shop, that services mostly Nissan's Z's to be specific..I think since it is a new car we need a specially trained mechanic for the 350Z only..at this time I plan on bringing my car to Nissan of fife, where I got my car..it will be a long drive , but for good service it will be worth it..I am currently waiting to "save up" some of the problems to have them all handled at once. Keep us posted on any new dealership in bellevue...hopefully they will have a good 350Z mechanic and extended pick-up hours aaand good service hours. Maybe we can meet again soon, missed you at gasworks integraowner.
Thanks for the feedback. A good eastside dealer would be awesome!
Since my temp license exp. I went to Burien Nissan this afternoon because I hadn't heard any negative news. Got there at 5:45 (service closes at 6) and they said they send their tech's home at 4:30. That seems strange...service dept. is open until 6, but there are no techs to even put on a license plate past 4:30. Hmm....
I'm really tempted to try out Lynnwood given integraowner's experience. Though not ideal - it sounded professional.
Fife seems the safest and probably best bet. It's just the inconvenience of it - if only they were open Sat. I could try to have it serviced while visiting my Dad in Fircrest (Tacoma).
