So I called my dealer for his first chance of giving me an update on my car... originally was told early november..

I've had a VIN for over a month.

So I call him.. and at first he's like 'well it will probably be mid to late november.. we haven't gotten any in almost a month'.. so now I'm getting edgy.. but haven't gotten mean yet.. but before I can really say much beyond what I've heard about other people's waits since they've had their VIN.. he runs off to talk to someone else. He then comes back and says 'its in the US... its in port (newport news) now'... but doesn't give me much better of an estimate of early november.

Anyone have any datapoints about time between car in port and at the dealer? My dealer is only about a 4hr drive from the port city.. the car is a touring with everything but NAV.. and spoiler, but the spoiler is being installed by the dealer.

I just wish I could get it by Friday!!! I have my HS reunion to goto.. rollin up in my new Z would take the cake!!!
