350Z to be on Tuner Transformation Oct 12
Have you guys ever watched that show? Those stats are jokes, they don't do any of the tests on the same standards that magazines do. I think they used to do 0-50 tests, plus they used a different driver in the before and after tests.
Gotta go with Jason on this one.
I was impressed by how little the stats changed, except for .5 sec. 0 to 60. It reaffirms what a great car Nissan made from the getgo. It handles well and really doesn't need much to make it better. Extra hp and tq will make it a dragster but there are lots of engines out there that will mod faster and better so anyone going that route has a real uphill battle.
I have on my wish list Tokico's to smooth out daily driving, Willwood fronts for better stopping and lower weight, S03's to hopefully get rid of my feathering problem, and maybe adjustable A-arms.
I finally like the muffler sound, especially after some spirited driving - it gets lower and throatier.
$7500 to get .5 sec? Get real!
