Battered Z spotted!!!
My wife and I usually take our VW Passat to work everyday, but for some reason I wanted to drive ZR today even though it looks like it might rain this afternoon. Thanks to all Z drivers out there making me jealous everyday.
I saw 2 CS Zs on my way to work. First one on US 290 (Housotn, TX), and second one in Downtown. After dropping my wife off at her office I headed toward my office in Greenway Plaza. Second CS Zwas getting on to US 59 headed toward Greenway Plaza as well. I passed couple of cars infront of me without trying very hard and caught up to find a battered Z.
Rear bumper and passenger side door all scratched up and dirty. I think it's chin spoiler was barely hanging, dangling on one side... To make long story short... it was a very sad sight.... How can you drive a car like Z and keep it in that condition... It looked like a super model with a black eye and few teeth knocked out hehehe, sorry for the bad comparison...
I just had to get it out of my chest... and moment of silence for all battered Z's out there!!!

My Z is my only means of transportation, if I crashed it, I'd have to drive it while waiting for the shop to have an open slot to fix it.
I'm sure it's still as much fun to drive with a few booboos on it. :-)

I feel the same way about my Z. I haven't seen it since last Tuesday. It was deemed "undrivable" by the body shop. This B***H ran a stop sign and side swiped me. She told the cop the sun was in her eyes. I almost beat her a$$... By the way, fellow Z owners don't wave back when you're in a Dodge Neon rental car. I won't see my Z again for another 2 weeks or so. I miss it...makes me want to cry

If my Z gets a scratch on it I don't drive it. And when I take it to get it fixed I have to have it back the same day or the next day. so far I had two incidents with my Z. One someone hit my rear bumper and left screw marks . I got that fixed and painted in 4 hours can't tell it happed, second was a lot worse. I got sideswiped fender smashed door smashed and mirror hanging off. I got that fixed in two days, can't tell it happened.
I don't see how that guy could drive his Z in that condition, unless he was taking it to the body shop.

Re: Battered Z spotted!!!
A while back some drunk redneck at a golf course backed into my Z. Left a hole in the rear bumper in the perfect shape of the trailer hitch. I can remember the truck I was parked across from and I just had a bad feeling.
anyway despite the fact that on the whole it was a small ding. I could not stand it and the next business day I got it repaired to the tune of 586 bucks, a new rear end. If it was any other car that i have ever owned, i would have simply found some same colored tape or a funny bumper sticker or something and hidden it. But the Z is different. Cant be beaten up.

My Z just got side swipped... damn cowardly hit-n-run SOBs. So I've been driving around with a crapped up Z for the last few days. I did my shopping and got estimates ranging from $300-$1000! Glad the $300 body shop was recommended by a fellow Zer... but ya, I don't have the $$$ to keep fixing my car...
I thought the story was going to be about me... lol.. until I heard it was in TX.
