Am I Too Short For The Z Or Is It Too Tall For Me?

Am I Too Short For The Z Or Is It Too Tall For Me?
Picked up my CS Track the other day
After adjusting the seat and steering wheel the best I could for maximum comfort (I'm 5'7"), I noticed that I can barely see any part of the hood over the windshield wipers. This makes judging the front and especially the right-front of the car almost impossible. Having been use to BMWs, that was never a problem. Is this just something I just have to get use to (I don't remember this with my '74 260Z)? Are any of you experiencing the same thing? Any fixes other than a seat cushion?
Thanks for the help!

I'm just under 5'6" and my visability is great. It's actually much better than I expected. Maybe my torso is longer than yours.
I also have the added benefit of storage behind the drivers seat since it is up so far. Sometimes I guess it pays to be short. I always have plenty of legroom on airplanes too.

if I sit up straight I can see what I need to see. it seems like you cant see the hood, but thats cause the hood slopes down so much.
havent had any visibility problems so far. except looking to the right to make a left turn, the pillar and mirror block the view. but thats ok.

Oh crap! I'm only 5'2"!!! Looks like I'll be riding around town sitting on top of a phone book!
But when I test drove the car, it really wasn't that bad. I've had a couple of cars that had really hard to see front ends, so I've gotten pretty good at judging distances once I'm used to the car.

Frank,
You are right that having a "tall" torso helps. My wife is only 5'1" with a "tall" torso and she can see alot more than I do.
Unless I come up with a solution other than my son's barely used college books , I may have look around for a "stretching" rack.
