Default Hi, my name is Cat and I'm a Mod-aholic....

GROUP: Hi Cat

Ok, so it all started when I bought a 97 TT supra. I did a few things but nothing extravagant because I was too young and didn't have my own money. ( I had big plans for that car though)
I saved and saved until I finally bought a 2004 350Z! (YAY!) even though my car wasn't Twin Turboed, I would eventually prosper to that level. I began small, tint, smoked vinyl overlays, wheels... I thought my mod bug would be satisfied but no, I fell in deeper and bought a bodykit too! You would think that a chunk of change spent on that would satisfy my hunger, but no... I have bigger plans in the near future with this wonderful car! All show no go isn't a term I want associated with my car...

I think I buy something for my car almost everyday, something little, something small, something BIG!! I just can't stop it, I can't it's horrible but yet so great and satisfying.... I will never get enough...

I wonder what I would do once I have completed my car? I know that no car is ever DONE, but to the extent where there aren't many choices left just isn't FUN anymore is it? yes I enjoy the car, but do I enjoy modding it more???????

<~~~~I have problems. I admit it.

hmm, yeah loved my supra. But as i stated I was too young and had no money which meant, mom and dad unfortunately. They divorced, it got ugly, dad sold everything in his name, yes that means the supra. It was a sad sad day, he even fealt bad, but what was I to say! You should? I just wanted everything to work out and be ok...

I almost got another supra instead of the Z, but I just could do it. same price for a 7-8 yr old car. They are awesome but man, just starting to get too old.. even though the miles are low, doesn't mean the car is fairly new....

although, If I was able to have a second car, the supra would be it, but by that time, they will all be gone!!

MOD ME! (tha is what my Z screams)

I have a stock (for the most part) Z =)

Got it in May of 2004.

No Tint.

- Got a 10" Sub
- Got an OEM Spoiler put on.
- Got some component speakers put in.

Stock is beautiful =)

I graduate this December. So the Greddy TT will come on after I get my own place! Muahha.

She rubbed off on me. At this rate I'm gonna be in debt.

All your fault!

Hi I am Adam and I am a Mod-a-holic.

My car sits in the shop on a lift with no braking system as I type. Sure I could have waited for the arrival of the actual brakes . . .but I had to be one step ahead. Today I will complete the job.

I have my own 12 step program . . .and the first step was buying the car.

Some how I think I have surpassed 12 steps. Oh well I don’t deny the problem, so that means its ok . . . Right?

I can't think about the grand total of what I've spent on the car anymore. If I did, my sensible finance geek side would forbid me to buy the clutch/flywheel, forged internals, and tons of other things I still NEED for my Z.

Hi my name is Chris. I too am a Mod-aholic. I'm on my third vehicle:

1998 Chevy Cavalier Z24 $3,000+ in mods
1992 Honda Civic Si $16,000+ in mods
2004 Nissan 350Z $7,000+ in mods and counting

I get bored after awhile and look for a new platform.

I think having my car away is what really does it for me! I seem to go even MORE mod crazy when I don't have the car around, nothing else to do but shop for her right!?

<rambling>I was looking into boosting, but then I was like I really need a stereo, and if I do the stereo I should get all of it done at once because it is cheaper in the long run, but then I still want to boost, so I am like Supercharger, but then no, I want Turboes, but then I get confused and I just have to have it all! I am really going crazy here. Supercharger is cheaper and I am not as scared about it as turboes, but turboes are so much fun and and and... then I am like well my engine bay, it has to be pretty too and I still have those leather seats I need to get as well as a few CF accent pieces cause I can't leave anything untouched... <rambling>

I have had the car for 3 1/2 months now and this has gotten outta hand. I figured I could mod the car over a course of a few years, but no I want it now, I am impatient.. then I get all scared like, once I have everything done with the car, what am I going to do?
