I was at SEMA yesterday and happened to be standing in the Nissan booth a few minutes before the unveiling of the 35th Ann. Z, so I stuck around.
First off, the wheels look much better in person than they do in the pictures! The car looks stunning in real life!
-Didn't see any special badging. Car isn't due out till early 05, so maybe this was a prototype model and wasn't finished yet. Who cares, it looked fine without it.
-Comes in Yellow, Silver and Super Black
-300hp, ~260ft/lbs
-New cams, ECU tuning, rods bolts, pistons and about 20 other things. New motor doesn't sound like "slap on a muffler and new ecu!" They listed off some serious internal work.
-Leather heated seats
-"Improved" clutch effort, supposed to be lighter
-$36,100 for the 6M/T, $37K for the A/T.
-New Rev-matching system for A/T manual mode. Blips throttle between shifts, improves downshift times by 40%. Sounds like a cool feature!
It was a really nice car, the yellow with black leather looked amazing. It's a nice pearl yellow too. $36K is getting up there though, wouldn't be suprised to see some dealers asking 40K for the car.
Track model will also have the new VQ35 engine.

Just got off the phone with some friends at SEMA, they hadn't been thru everything yet but would be letting me know more about the anniversary edition. They are looking at buying one too.
