Thumbs down Vehicle Buy Back Letters From Dealer

I've received three letters from Hilltop Nissan over the past 3 weeks regarding the buyback of my '04 Roadster. Has anyone else received these letters from their dealers?

Below is an exerpt from the letter.

INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR CURRENT VEHICLE
The demand for quality pre-owned vehicles is at its highest right now. Hilltop Nissan is in need to acquire several pre-owned 2004 350Z models in order to fulfill special used vehicle requests, which our records indicate you currently own. Our 100% market value trade-in policy combined with special low lease & finance rates, could make it possible for you to exchange your current vehicle for a Brand New 2004 or 2005 Nissan with little or no out of pocket expense and a monthly payment that fits your budget.

They must be JOKING..........

Yes I received the same letter three times.

It is a marketing ploy to get you to come in and get NOTHING for your trade in and pay MORE for a 2005.

Ignore it unless your unhappy with your Roadster.

It's a pseudo-scam. Sure they're going to buy it back, as long as you buy a new one to replace it with. It's also called a "trade-in". Personally, I consider it an insult to my intelligence.
