Default How often do you do it

How often do you drive 100 mph or higher?

What speed gives you the "satisfaction" ?

Not very often. I like the auto-X more. Its all about the feel of speed.

only on the track, my comfort speed is 85-90 in and around the atlanta highways, and 8mph above the limit on interstates.

On I-75 all the time, cruise right around 100 as long as I'm not alone.

Locally, only for short stints...

Yeah no kidding...I thought this thread would go something like this: More often now that I've got this Z.

I have yet to break 100mph...even though I've had the car a whole week now. The freeways around Portland aren't high-speed friendly.

Are you talking about 100mph in bed or on the track?

Bah! Don't hang your head in shame! The freeways around Portland have earned (in my much younger days) me many tickets.

Wanna get your Z over 100? Go to PIR on a track day. No matter what your experience level, the front straight and the back straight (really a sweeping dogleg) will both afford you the opportunity to break 100mph. Just watch out for the chicane on the front straight.

never. Ive done it maybe 4 or 5 times; I never beat 99mph at the drag strip when I went, so none then.

Insurance is hell as it is, I dont need a single ticket to make it worse so I keep it at 10mph over and no more.

I probobly do it 3-5 times a week if Im not out racing. If I am then maybe 10X in one afternoon out with my friends. I dont feel a "rush" until I get to 145 or so, anything under that just doesnt feel fast to me. Ive hit speed limiter twice in this car, now thats a feeling. I have no speed limiter now, havent pushed it past 150 in a while....
