This is what I saw tonight coming home

For those that can't see through the darkness; that's my neighbor's Firehawk, fast as hell and now residing in some bushes and trees.
The guy took really really good care of it, and although I never talked to him I really loved his car. I'd see it almost every morning. Damn damn damn.
As to what happened, nearest I can figure is he lost it(or tried to avoid something) coming around a curve, oversteered, bounced over a curb where his car did a 180 about-face and ended in its final position.
Made me really appreciate my car.

Here it is lightened in photoshop... (was curious, since it appeared damned near all black to me...)
doesn't look like there's too much damage, but then again, it's pretty hard to tell from this image...
either way, bummer.

Thanks for lightening the picture up barclayloftus, I had no idea what the hell it was, especially since I didn't know that a firehawk was a special kind of trans-am. I figured you were talkin bout a motorcycle...

Dude, that ain't ****. I'm on my 2nd 350 b/c the first one, once it hit 1200 miles, I started drifting with. Well, at about 1300, I learned to not drift unless you know what you're doing. Look, I'm a fairly bright guy, Masters Program, degree in Econ, pretty good common sense, but those ****ers in Initial D make it look so easy. Oops. Anyway, 3AM, drifting around a corner, *** swerved out and I turned the wheel a lil too much, right into a curb. Total Loss. I think I shoulda stayed w/ FWD Honda's(even though they suck). Moral of story, GAP Insurance + full coverage are a beautiful thing. Oh, and right on Amnbex, but there is no good Bush.
