Default Raced a 760iL

it was an awesome race, we raced on the highway upto 125 and he had about a car length on me. From a rolling start he worked me, we both had 1 passanger with us.

It's got to be the driver when people race these nice cars. IMO the 760IL if it hits around past 100 or more it should have blown past you. BMW and Mercedes are made for speed, but nice kill!

a 745 is one thing. I walked one of those up to 130.....but a 760? Man....I think that V12 should have blown by you.

760s arent a joke. the v8 pull above 100mph is one thing, but how a v12 pulls above 100 is another.,

Its a 4900lbs car. It may have 440 hp and torque, but it hauls a lot of metal. MPG must be appaling.

Um...when you roll a 760IL you could care less about saving $50.00 a month on gas!
Not to mention the fact that you most likely leased the car and write the mileage and lease off on taxes.

I think he meant "he had a car on me" in that he lost by a car. Even with all the power, the car is still pretty heavy.

What are the magazine stats on the 760??

it was like two 20' year old white guys riding in a black 760il with HUGE rims, absoultely the biggest tires in width i have ever seen, the rims must have been at least 22 inches. But on the highway i floored it and then he floored it but he was about 2-3 cars behind me caught up and got infront of me, on a roll he whooped me.

my dad had a 750iL a few years ago and i dont think it was much faster if not slower than our z's. He's going to buy a 760iL sometime in the near future, cant wait to race it.

Like I said before if he starts hiting 80-100 or even more he will walk on ya. Sometimes we think that the Z can do everything but it has its limitation when it comes to the big boys. (760IL, S55, E55 and so on). If you go against a german car the speed will kill us!

760IL has lot's of power, but I would also like to see the race in the real track. My guess is, car such as Z, 911, s2000 or M3 will take it easily, and 760IL with the slowest lap time. Just my opinion.

it would slouch on a track...too heavy.
But it is a PIMP mobile with some AMAZING straight line power.

Im sry, but the high-end of the 760IL would eat the Z alive. I love my Z, but i know when to bow down when power roles through.
