Rear when wiper moves Using Front Windshield wiper fluid

On my z when I push the control stalk forward to shoot windshield wiper fluid the rear windshield wiper moves!

Is that how it's supposed to work?

pull back for the front windshield, forward for the rear. If you want to squirt the rear, just do a hard 1-2 shift.
