Default thinking of some more mods and...

does anyone out there have any opinions on this combo?

1. crawford plenum

2. high flow cats

3. y pipe

I'm looking for some more low end grunt...and a few more ponies....but I don't want my car to be much louder..

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

How about ...

4. Performance Driving School.

Mod yourself -- it will definately make you faster and your will enjoy the car a lot more.

That said ... I like the mods you have listed.

The downpipe and the cats will only reduce your low end torque, but increase your high end power. The plenum will likely offset some of this loss, but additional low-end grunt is hard to come by in this car cheaply. The high-end is easy, and your list will get you what you're looking for probably.

Plenum doesn't do much down low. Headers and cats would be a better bet down low. Don't chinze go for the Crawford stuff.

Or

3.9FD + Tilton Clutch + LaBree Pipes = uncontrollable 1st & 2nd gear accelleration! Ok, maybe it would be a little louder.

"Add" 20hp down low, 35hp throughout the midrange and 20 up top!

I would say a driving school would be your best bet...I thought I needed more power also. Then went to the bondorant school and found that what I rely needed was someone to teach me to drive. The best bet for low end is forced feeding the motor(turbo or supercharger).....Just my 2cents....
