I ordered my Z in June. The inventory manager gave me my order number and said my car would be in sometime in November. However, she could not even tell me for sure that my Z was even built yet. Is this normal? Should she not have access to exactly where my Z is at this point? Should there not be an estimated build date and ship date? How might I find this information?

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I am getting my car hopefully next week and received a VIN the last week of October. So I received 2 weeks notice. Hope that helps

Welcome to the club!! Most of us originals here ordered in Jan/Feb. Most of them have they'res by now but I am getting mine late cause I changed my order late. But I get it end of this week. Hang in there and they will get it to you. Actually I have been waiting ever since I learned they were bringing it back a hell of a long time ago.

 

Considering the PMA lockout on the west coast with the longshoremen setting shipping/arrival schedules back as much as 4~8 weeks and more than brisk demand in Japan for the car, be lucky that you are getting one at all.

I order mine back in March and it arrived in mid-August. It really pissed off those guys who got there orders in Jan/Feb...particularly in the big markets. In Lubbock, TX we received 6 within a couple of weeks of each other(mine being the first).

 

You ordered in June and you're already sweating? Heh heh... rookie.

what was you order number? I also ordered in June with a V339619 order number, car is due in December but no VIN yet.

They are saying January 1 Delivery because I ordered the Nav. Whatever. I'll just have to wait.
