Your E46s ITBs were pulling from a plenum... the intake tube which the MAF resided fed that plenum.

ITBs reap their most benefit when pulling from open air, while not being encapsuled in a chamber.

Crawford's has already explored ITBs and found it for the time being to be a lost cause. As the cost would far outweigh the gains.

how do you filter it???

do you just have one huge filter?

Basically... yes.

However our engine bay does NOT have the room to accomodate a large enough plenum for all six runners on each side.

Nor can our ECU control two throttle bodies for runner going to either side of the bay.

Run an FCON, or another stand-alone where you can run a MAP sensor and you're good to go. Otherwise, it's good to dream... right?
