E36 M3 design > Z32. the wedge shape of the Z32 and the overall back-end of the car just seems so oldschool to me. the E36 M3 still looks like a modern car given it's age. as said before, the rims is what makes the car look outdated, change those and the whole look is improved.

Audi faces the same issue with a redesigned TT. Audi is having trouble making a new body design that looks significantly better than the original TT. And, you never hear anyone saying the 40-year-old design of a Jaguar XKE is ugly.
And, the aftermarket suppliers see older Z’s as a rich selling environment for mods. It’s a great looking car that is adaptable and receptive to mods (body kits, transmissions, engine upgrades, wheels and tires, etc.). When your Z gets old (and maybe time to replace the engine), you can select from a lot of options (turbo or supercharger) to add to the engine rebuild. Here is where the fun begins: Well, I need a new engine… What should I do? Well… you go crazy and build a unique and cool car.

The Z32 design came out late 1989, this design was way ahead of its time back then, just to point out that the Z32 was the first sports car to start the projector headlights. Till this day this design still looks modern and its almost 20years old. Z32 was always my dream car when I was growing up even before the RX7(FD).

That was me.
As far as I can tell, it's you and what caugght my attention was your avatar matches what was on the back of your car. I also know what the VRT badge looks like so i knew you might've had the JWT system but I see you have the Greddy.
Unfortunately, you caught me while I have my turbo system off of my car but I have to warn you though, after what happened to me, with the stuff you have on your car (especially the badge that actually says 'Twin Turbo Z') you are just screaming for a ticket especially in the ticket ****-land of Torrance.
Do you happen to be a cop or fireman? Maybe have industry hook-ups on installs and stuff?
Anyways, let me know.
P.S. Not to sound like an a$$ but your tail lights look like something that belong on the back of a Tiburon or something. Those bubble thingies need to go.

Nice Z32! Yeah, I wasn't trying to say the M3 looked better than any Z. I just think its a timeless design. Sure it will look old, but it still looks good. Also keep in mind it is a 4-seater (6' tall adults can sit comfortably in the back), so it can't look as sleek as a 2-seater. I also think the e30 M3 still looks good.
Old P-cars still look good.
I just don't want Nissan to Bengal-ize the new z. Bengal (sp) is the guy that's screwing up the new BMW designs. Although I do think the new 6-series is sweet.
The E92 M3 profile reminds me of a pontiac. And the hood bulge on the e92 is more hideous than the 07 Z. At least from the pics. Maybe it'll look better in person.

Couldn't have siad it better, brah...
I have read that there will be a surprise in the April issue of Nissan Sport Magazine. I sure hope it's a 3.7 liter in an 08 z33. I'll be the first to put $$ down on that order!
I have a feeling there won't be any changes to the 08, but it'll be a complete redesign and new engine for 09. Then the whole car's un-proven
I was sad yet satisfied when weight was up in the e46 M3 compared to the e36. I am hoping that the new Z design drops at least a couple hundred pounds and gets the 3.7l.

Would anyone of you trade your Z for the GT-R? I think the price is almost a double right? I am not sure why Nissan build two sport car not like Toyota and Honda...Supra and NSX..anyway, sorry go off topic...So there will be no more skyline? only GT-R?
