Default 2009 500 hp G37 on the way?

Another rumor for the mill?

http://www.topspeed.com/cars/infinit...e-ar39487.html

Sounds too good to be true but it sure would be nice...

That's cool...looks kinda good.

I don't know about the 500hp TT engine...but hey, anything could happen. The idea of the next Z having a TT, or at least the option, has been wandering in the back of my head for a while. If it does come to life on the G, I don't see why it wouldn't on the Z unless they're taking a completely different route with it.

This is a possibility of the "surpise" Nissan is talking about.

The engine will be matted with a a choice of an upgraded electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission with manual mode
This mean that the 2009 G37 will be even more powerful like a GT-R.
Based on the grammar of those two sentences alone, I'd say they're retards wanting attention. Whatever draws YOU to THEIR site

And lastly...

Like the Coupe, the Convertible version will be offered in three different versions:
Which way to the department of redundancy department?

hmm. 500hp G? Don't think that's happening at all. At least not as early as 2009. Interesting article though.

In the somewhat affordable price range of cars, more hp usually equals more weight . Just my

Interesting find Hydrazine. Rumour mill is right.

It's not something I think has any credibility. Even the GTR isn't expected to have that much power.

LOL.... funny thread
This NOT the direction Infiniti is going.
If anything the new G37 is evidence that the G is getting softer & more luxo oriented.
They're chasing a piece of the Lexus market share.

In other news, Chevrolet is releasing a 600hp variant of it's Cobalt. This means the 2009 Cobalt will be even more powerful like a Z06.

^^ That's approximately the same level of conviction as that article had
