I've seen the 370Z...
I was part of a marketing focus group a few weeks ago and they revealed the 370Z to us and got our opinions. It looked amazing. It reminded me of a shark of sorts -- the tail lights look like crecents or 'boomerangs'. It was 330+ HP, 200lbs lighter than the 350Z, and they are targeting a 30,000-32,000 base MSRP.
The front looked slightly more aggressive with a wider and more pronounced 'scoop'. The rear bumper had a distinctive look and feel to it, with the exaust pipes looking more pronounced (and larger).
The left side gauge was digital and performed multiple tasks, and was able to display other things -- this was in ADDITION to the center left gauge.
Redline was pushed back but they wouldnt tell us how far.
Cargo room was decreased slightly.
The rear sway bar cover was slightly slimmer.
The headlights had a very distinctive look to them
I was assured the images I saw were photos, and not renders. I could tell they were real.
I did not sign an NDA but we were not allowed to bring in cameras or cell phones, there were 6 of us chosen to be part of the focus group, all Z owners.

They moved to TN., but the bulk of 350Z sales were Ca. Naturally you will go where the picking is good, next they should be coming to texas at some pt. hopefully

Did they talk about when it might be released? Model Year '09, or calendar year '09?
