Fun With Photoshop: 370Z
So I decided to play around with the idea of a next-gen Z. I am not saying this is what it will look like (I have no inside info), heck I am not even saying this is what I want it to look like.
I just took the current silhouette (which it is supposed to look like), shortened the wheelbase a bit (as per the mule), used some GT-R/G37 style headlights, added some subtle GT-R design cues (loose interpretation of the front grill opening and fender vent), accentuated Nissan's love affair with the rake look and added some of what I see as current design trends (sharp cut line in the side skirts, rising towards the rear wheel; accentuating the "hip" by the rear window area; no B-pillar)
Anyway, I thought it is a pretty interesting mix and looks pretty good -- very similar to the current car, but different enough (seems to be a trend at Nissan these days):

If for nothing else, that front bumper design should looks great. Where did you get that from? Is it your own creation? Someone should make an aftermarket one like this if there isn't one already.
