Default Next Z Design Wish List

I would like to start a post of what fellow Z owners would like to see in the next generation Z. First, this would continue with Nissan's idea to evolve the current 350Z design rather than a completely new vehicle platform. Hopefully, Nissan will review our preferances.
Post your idea's in the following categories:

EXTERIOR:

Wheel base length (shorter, same size, longer - indicate length)
Overall weight (reducing by target overall weight/horsepower ratio)
Headlights (LED or Xenon)
Taillights/turn signals lens (keep the separate taillight turn signal lights or combine)
Paint colors (state primarly colors followed by hue (light/dark) etc.
Front bumper cover (change or evolve - indicate whether additional duct openings are needed for? (For example, for intercooler, oil cooler, etc)
Hood (keep same 2007 design, return to 2003 design, add air extractor scoops, etc.)
Front side panals (Retain Z emblem, add wheel/engine compartment extractors, etc.)
Side skirts (same current design, lower, etc.)
Rear bumper cover (incorporate rear diffusor/ rear wing, etc)
Dual exhaust in current location or exiting dwon the middle)
Rear wiper (standard or option)
Rim/tire size (Indicate standard/option rim size & target weight, tire size(s) same for all 4 or current stagger)

INTERIOR:
Gauge cluster (retain current style or change.. For example, variable gauge lighting colors)
Numer of Gauges (standard/option)
Cubby (Keep current style or return to 2003, 2004 design with the lid)
HAVC controls (keep 3 rotor ***** or change - for example -LED control or?)
Head unit (add what features as standard items and optional features)
speakers (location and number of -- For example, 5.1 surround, separate bass)
Center console (keep current design or revise)
Seats and its track (same track adjustments & seat design or change for taller people. Indicate seat design change features - lighter, openings for 4/5 point racing harness, etc.)
Storage bins (retain current number, size, and locations or change)
Interior colors (same or new colors)
Floor Carpet (retain or delete)

SUSPENSION/BRAKES:
Suspension (Retain current front/rear geometry or change.. For example reduce unsprung weight by ?)
Hub/bearing assembly (retain or increase strength)
Safety (Current lap seat belt or 4/5 point harness)
Brakes (retain or improve)
Spare tire - Retain current spare tire or delete for run flat tires

ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN:

(Standard V6, optional turboV6, V8)
DRIVE (Rear wheel, Front wheel, All wheel)
Transmission - Standard manual 6spd or 7spd, CV auto, etc. and its location)
Rear axles - (Retain or strengthen)
Parking Brake (Keep same in hub or separate in independent parking brake)

Please feel free to add to the current list of categories or add additional categories.

The idea is to let Nissan know from current Z owners what they currently like and what they would like to improve in the next generation Z. Happy posting!

I'd just want it to look nicer and be faster. Don't really care all too much HOW they do it as long as it's pulled off well. Then again, it doesn't really matter since I'm pretty sure I won't be buying another Z again. Too many other cars out there to try in this price range.

Like everyone else.... weight loss... otherwise change the look but keep it sexy!!

but... a bigger focus on the interior how about a normal car GLOVEBOX (above the foot bay of the passenger side).... lose the TAPEPLAYER who needs s*** that in 2009?.... more leather, less plastic- that might drive the price up so have added leather a option...a more inconspicuous rear strut bar to increase boot space.....

Max weight of 3,100lbs. Sub 5 second 0-60 times. Sub 13 second quarter mile times. Better handling. Less cheap feeling interior.

Fix the oil burning issue, better interior quality, more durable/heated AND cooled seats, a sub 5 second 0-60, better gas mileage, better clutch, standard xenon headlights, standard side impact airbags.

Lighter with more power. In other words, better hp to weight ratio.

First of all, I would love the new Z to have more horsepower per liter. The exterior design hopefully wouldn't change that much, just a simple upgrade from the current look. The interior doesn't really matter that much to me. As long as it has A/C, a decent sound system, a stiff suspension, weighs no more than 3200 pounds, and is quick enough to run in the high 12's or low 13's, I'll be very happy.

Absolutely no BOSE POS sound system! Paint that didn't come from Walmart and better tires.

Build quality.

I got a 12 old 4X4 Dodge truck I have taken off road over 100 times with no rattles. I got a Subaru Forrester, no rattles. My 350Z rattles all the time, numerious places and no matter how many times I took it to the dealer, they never fixed it.

Guess what? When it come time to buy a new car to go skiing in, I did not even look at the Roque or any Nissan. I simply bought a Subaru. This comes after owning Nissans since 1973 to now. They had their chance, they dropped the ball & lost a customer, maybe for life.

Yes, that would be nice. However, I'd be happy with a 350hp NA V6 weighing under 3200 LBS.
