Since everyone already is way off subject, I will continue the trend.
I wonder how many people would be hurt or happy knowing there famed American performance car at one time had plans of putting Wankel technology into the engine bay. Or is that common knowledge?
How do Corvette owners feel about that? To think if it wasn't for high gas prices it would have gone into production. Could you imagine instead of a modern V8 motor Corvette owners enjoy today, it could have had a 3-4 rotor Chevy spin-off. Hows that for quality?

Transmission problems = TT more power = the cause
Underpowered? But it can run low 13s if needed? Right....

Sorry, but I guess since you OWN it, it is the best. Just like how you said the 350z was night and day over your C5... And now the 350Z is a POS per you.
I seriously doubt you own two. Show the proof, let's see some paperwork.

So what C6 year and model did you own? And you got rid of it to get Z? If so, why?
Wow you really think people search your posts just to attack you? Laugh. People have a life, they don't need to follow one person. You post on this forum and people will respond. If you have a issue with that leave! You don't even belong here.

What gets me is the comparison of a base $26k care vs. $45k base car with nearly $20 difference you would expect the Vette to be a better car. I believe that the C6 Vette is a better looking and performing car that compares with some of the other SuperCars of the world with old technology.
The Z car is a price + performance Sports Car like the C6 but with slightly higher technology. The 370Z won't out perform a C6 and definitely not a ZR1 but it will be running under 5 seconds 0-60s and handle better.
My statement on the Shelby was just to say that it was an over priced Mustang that will probably run with a 370Z and cost two times amount and $8k more then a GTR.
The GTR is a SuperCar that when tested is as good as any SC in the world!
I like me a GTR, the Corvette is an awesome looking vehicle that runs on old technology but sharp as hell.
Living in reality a $32k-$34k dollar 370Z is my car.

I do agree that the GTR is fat and Ugly. at least in pics, haven't seen in person yet.
I do agree that the C6 is a superior car to the C5...I still wouldn't own one.
Luckily 100's of different models of automobiles roll off the assembly lines so that we can all have our pick. So this argument everyone is having is worthless. ZZ loves his C6's, and the vast majority here don't...its time to let it go.
I will say that the fact we're even comparing the 2 cars says a lot about the Z.

Wow there is a lot of GM haters here!!!! I think we all forgot that if it wasn't for the french Nissan would not exist. All car companies are in the sh*t right now and all car companies build both good and bad cars.

You do...and you keep proving it over and over. So how much time have you spent going through my old posts? Keep making a fool of yourself....that's one thing you're great at!
As I said, I have only ONE Vette right now, not two.....jeez...can you even read???
Here are a couple of pics...the vert and my 350Z, and the coupe I currently have. I would have thought you'd have already seen these since you've scoured my history on this site, but just for you, here they are again!

And costing only $32k - $42k that will work keeping up with the Z tradition of price + performance. Soltice my a$$. All cars are going up in price.
Be nice if I could keep the redline 05 but if not the 370Z in black would be sweeet!!
Note that the Shelby GT500KR Mustang is a $79K car 3885lbs curb weight, 540hp and does 4.7 0-60 times. GTR money without the S performance I'd get a GTR instead.
What do you say?

The vette is a good bang for the buck, but obviously with all Chevy's, you get the crappy quality with them.

There is nothing wrong with GM quality.
And wasnt it Nissan who couldnt fix a transmission problem for almost 4 years? How about creating oil consumption problems in the process...
I love the Z, but dont be hypocrits
