Default Got to see 370Z Parts Catalog

Can't say who/what/when/where, but yesterday I had the opportunity to thumb thru the Nissan 370Z parts catalog CD. It had the exploded view diagrams of every part of the new Z. Interior, exterior, suspension, and motor. Pretty cool. And FYI, the only motor that was listed was the VQ37VHR. No different motor options such as turbos or V8.

Not surprised. IF there is a secondary motor offering, it won't be at initial release.

Was the parts catalog OEM/replacement, dealer add-ons, NISMO, etc???

I am more intrested in the NISMO parts (suspension / intake / exhaust, etc). Will they be available at launch?

Does the headlight have the row of leds?

Does it have led day time running lights near the turn signal bulb?

Is the rear strut tower now a tube behind the seats even for the sport package?

Is the door handle like the us prototype or european prototype?

What is the width of the 19 inch wheels and is it 19 up front or 18?

Thanks

It was all OEM. I'm sure there was some dealer add-ons, etc... But I was only given five minutes to browse the CD.
And I'm not surprised about the motor either. It just confirmed what I was told from Nissan brass at the Z Convention.

Sorry man, I wasn't able to get to the NISMO stuff. Don't even know if it was in the catalog. With the limited time I was given to browse my focus was to look at body, suspension, interior, and confirm the motor.

I did ask the guy who let me look about the rumors of possible turbo and/or V8 option for the motor. His response was when Nissan sends this catalog out, what you see is what you get. Nothing more.

I can't confirm any detailed specs like what you are asking. This was an exploded view of the entire car.
Something like this-

OK, so it is a VQ37VHR. Now we know a turbo kit from GTM won't be too far off lol.

Describe the steering pump in exact detail, and if you can't I am calling BS.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. With that Turbo kit, this 370z will definitely be a fricken monster with the new platform.

Is the new 370Z still riding on the FM platform? I heard it was called the E platform, an update to the FM platform.

Is the rear suspension the same setup as the old 350z?

Not for certain. Most of what I was interested in looking at was the interior, body, and mostly the motor.
