Love everything about it so far.
Whats with all the people saying its not curvy....can no one else see that the "curvy trend" is out for now....GTR edgy, Camaro edgy, all these new cars have linear lines as opposed to curvy ones...this car will look drop dead sexy in person....i hope they got the same bolt pattern so that i can slap my Work on right off the bat while i look for an upgrade

I like but from what I read on the offical pics thread they are talking 37k for a base.
If true no thanks I can get a new camaro with 300hp for 23k. Hell for 37k I can get a top of the line pimped out v8 camaro. I thought the 370 base was suppose to be in the 27k range. If its 37k nissan is out of their minds and I will choose the camaro.
I doubt Nissan will price the base car in that range. The SS Camaro can be had for about 31k. I still think the base Z will be 290-32k with the Track version running about 35k. I can live with that....
It looks like a 350Z, S2000 and 240Z had a little ménage à trois.
Actually, when I was looking for a sports coupe a few years ago, I was wishing that there was something between the 350Z and the S2000. Someone somehwere was listening.

Lets hope! I am stuck bewteen the two cars it all comes down to price for me. I prefer the lighter weight of the 370Z though.
Until now, every new Z car generation was a brand new design (240Z, 300Z, 350Z). This is the first time they tried to evolve a prior generation. The result, like so many posts I've read indicate, is a mixed bag. Some things look good, some completely out of place, some so-so, etc). I hope the next generation (if there is one) will be a complete redesign. The 350Z looks good because it is a 350Z. The 370Z looks like a car suffering from multiple identity disorder. It doesn't stand on its own.
voted no because:
1) ugly boomerang or teardrop front and tail lights
2) rear is too short, looks like they just lopped off the back
3) it looks like an updated datsun
the G35 to G37 was a smooth and subtle update. not sure what to make of the 370Z so far...maybe it will look better in person, can't look worse!
