Do you like the 370Z Now?
No because:
1. The rear roof line looks as if it just straight back like the z4.
2. The boomerrang headlights and tailights. (Although we've seen that a layover will fix this and that future gens after this one will probably drop the disgusting boomerang style.)
3. Not a huge bump in power in relation to the 350.

Alot of aspects of the 370z have certainly grown on me, but the styling is really the buzz kill. If it dropped down half price i might be more accomodating. There is however alot of positive points i think it has going for it. The 350z is still a better looking car, but the 370z with its more aggressive lines make it look alittle outdated.
Positives
-Much lighter, and a better performance vehicle over the 350z from a statistics viewpoint.
-Cayman S performances on a budget
-Improved interior, with more quality trimmings and features over the 350z
-Syncro Rev Match (no car has this)
-Sexy stock wheels
Negatives
-Engine Note sounds awful, and tractor like. 350z has the edge in this area.
-Back end looks horrible, like it was chopped off, giving it a very awkward stance
-Omission of a oil cooler
-Cartoonish looking appearance, front fangs, weird arrowhead tail-lights all contribute towards this.
-Rearward Visibilty. The 350z was already a compromise in this department but the 370z magnifies this problem. Rear parking sensors should be standard.
-Again Blind spot related, view through the C pillar (or is it B pillar), is just ridiculous
Most of the criticism i think can rest upon the styling. I think the 350z in this department trumps it, even if it looked slighlty outlandish at first release.

Performance wise, absolutely. But it looks like it has down syndrome so I wouldn't buy it. How can the same people who designed something as drop dead gorgeous as the GTR possibly think that the 370 looks good?

You should know that there is an equal amount of people who think the GTR is drop dead f-ugly..
GTR drop dead gorgeous? Honestly, a Honda fit looks better to me. Nissan is on a roll right now ruining body styles ie GTR, 370Z although the new Maxima is better looking.

When i was at the nissan dealership past week, i have sat in the 370z again, the more i sit in it, the more i hate it. The interior is horrible, the dashboard has random edges (notice how it dosnt flow at all from the gauges down, it has like rough edge right out of no where where the lid pops up), the seats are ugly especially the headrests, wheel is stolen from other nissan/infiniti line up.
Gauges i kind of like, theres so much going on, but it flows nicely, yet i still prefer the simple look of the 350. The rear strut was removed, the aluminum beam was put in place behind the seats, UGLY, honestly i dont know what they were thinking.
No...
1. LOVE the interior!! (with the exception of the "info gauge" on the left, kills the flow IMO)
2. Hate the "boy-racerish" exterior
3. IMO it doesn't "feel" like a sports car. To me it drives/feels/sounds like a Maxima.
I could go on, but you said three reasons. lol
Yes i have driven the 370, both trims. Yes i want to like it. And no i'm not Biased because i have a 350.
With me it really comes down to the looks more then anything. I realize the engine is much more refined then my 2003, so that accounts for the lack of sportyness. But i just can't get over the exterior, the rear specifically with the USDM useless black square crap going on. And it looks jacked up too.
I respect it for all it's engineering upsides, but i wouldn't make monthly payments for all the exterior downsides.
