For me the rear was the selling point. I totally love it....
Do you still feel that way after seeing this chop with it dropped and with wide tires???

The 350Z has a nice stance, to be sure, but the "fat rear" of the 350 has been replaced with a "tight rear" and "strong legs"..

It has a lot of the "Sexy Curves" of the 911, but distinctly "Z"

Not even close. The 911 has a wide bumper to match the fenders giving it a truely aggressive wide look. The 370's narrow bumper starts to abrupt. It should gradually get wider and would look a lot better.

I like the way the rear fenders extend further down on the wheel becoming sort of a mud flap. It looks better then the z rear. But I think the tail lights and strange bump on the hatch are taking away from the smoothness of the design.

Looking at these comparisons really makes me see that the z33 looks better then the z34.

The rear on the 370Z looks way more aggressive. Imagine some thick rubber under those fenders. Mmmmmm.

With the wider fenders and the tighter looking " buns of Steel"...are we still going to be able to fit the two golf bags inside?

LOL...I did put thick rubber under those fenders...Those are much wider than the original pic.... As much as Id love to put Viper sized tires back there in real life it would be pointless given the power unless you are pushing over 500 to the wheels...Heres the original..

350z has that huge strut bar. The 370Z does not. It is smaller and closer to the rear seats.

+1... couldn't get my idea across as well.

Did a quick photoshop to get the idea out visually of "pinching the rear."

What Nissan did to accentuate a bigger fender is make the slope of the fender less steep.

That pinched rear is pretty ugly.

Agreed... they "resculped" the hatch area to give the appearance of wider fenders despite the ~0.5" increased width.
