New Silvia will push 370Z upmarket and in price?
I was just over on the 370Z forum where the admin posted an image today of a 370Z pricing document in Japanese that's circulating on the Internet. Here are some numbers....
Base 6MT $31,880
ST (Touring) 6MT $38,350 -41K
7AT $40,300- 42
Weight 3260 lbs.

2. This is Japanese pricing. No Camero to fight against. This MAY be the numbers, but I really think these will come down when the US pricing is released. Otherwise, the Z will not sell very well.
3. I REALLY hope the weight is not accurate. Doesn't matter I will wait not only until official specs are released, but until I DRIVE the car.
this chop would be more befitting of the rumored baby-G thats been tossed around for the last year or so...can't argue that it doesnt fit the infiniti design scheme, nissan badge like the JDM 350GT, could still make it a body concept for the next Silvia
I'll also agree it may not look like any US sold 240sx, but it could pass as a silvia s15 evolution design. so this could be a bringing back of the JDM Silvia, rebadge Infiniti baby-G, put some USA nissan-esque bumpers and cheaper lights and you have a 240SX successor.

IMO I think its gonna look more the Azeal concept from 2006 (which was in the works when I worked there).
With the economic downturn I don't think Nissan will be introducing a new
model in a previously unsuccessful segment anytime soon.

1. You are a little late, there is another thread with this information.
