370Z Unveil in LA ***VIDEO inside!***
Continued 7....
The white GT-R is Edmunds' long-term test vehicle, followed by the engine from same. Just imagine how the 370Z would perform with one of these under the hood!
As I walked around the cars, I overheard a few conversations by some self-important folks saying they wish Nissan had conferred with them before making some of the design choices they made. Nissan is a car manufacturer, not a Hong Kong tailor. The Z does have legacy and all that, but jeez, Nissan is a volume car builder, not Bugatti. Get over yourselves, people! The 370Z, in spite of some compromises Nissan felt necessary, is a great looking car! As long as it performs as I expect it to, I'd say they're going to sell as many of them as they can build. Too bad the economy isn't cooperating right now.
Just give the car a chance and I'm sure it'll grow on you. It already has grown on me.
Later, they pulled a first gen Z alongside the 370s. It was really interesting to compare the two side by side.

Continued 8....
There was even a 350Z Roadster on hand. The black bar in the interior is the luggage cover/screen recoiled into its cover. I assume it is removable, though I forgot to look to make sure.
Fire away with any questions you might have and I'll do mu best to answer.

There are way too many threads regarding the 370Z, so they have been merged.
What are you talking about? It's the giant silver thing on the steering column, where Z33's ignition would be.
ya know, I didn't really like the 370 when I first saw it. However, that part of the video where the red 370 pulls up in slow motion... made me say "daaammmnn, I want one of those". It was like staring at a hot woman in red, a neck twister.
Thanks all for the links and pics. Car looks good but will look how its supposed to when I get my grubby little hands on one mwahaha....
Not feeling the blue at all....Wanted DB back but oh well Ill have to sample another color thats all...

The BLUE Z = S*X on wheel
I am in love with the blue Z. I looks a lot like Jetstream Blue corvette color. I am pretty sure it's mesmerizing in person. I like.
I'm starting to like the front and 3/4 view better, the more i look at the rear the more I hate it though. Don't like those colours one bit, either...
oh and I hate both the headlights and the rear lights! The interior looks a bit nicer than the original 350Z but that's as much as I can find that I like over my 350Z
Definitely not in a rush to get rid of my DB 350Z.. the 350Z lines flow much better imo. I'll wait to see it in the flesh (whenever that's going to be in the UK) but I'm not impressed so far
