I don't know man, I'm wondering the same thing. If you go to the linky I posted above, they have a pic of the right button from the shifter says "S-Mode" wonder what that is too below link

these are all just the autoblog photos we've seen before. people rip em off and slap them on their websites hoping to grab traffic. lol. this is exactly what got 350zforlife banned so hopefully none of the newbs gets tanked for it.

It's probably used for stationary displays, as in the LA Auto Show next week. They can turn off all the car's accessories and even "plug the car in" to power accessories from 110v if they need to.
I seriously doubt you'll find the same switch on production models.

Somebody said it was a diff cooler. Doubtful that'll make it through to final production. At least not with a switch in the trunk.
The spot marked "power outlet" is usually where they "plug in" cars used as static displays for trade shows (auto shows).
