Fixed partner pricing similar to Ford X-plan or GM Supplier pricing. It is a little above invoice.

In times likes these on most Nissan Vehicles a person can negociate a slightly better price without VPP.. On a new vehicle like the 370z, VPP could be the best deal for a while (especially here in Cali).

Wait a year, then the price will be under invoice. Most new cars can be bought under invoice (ex: just bought a 2009 VW GTI for $300 under invoice 3 weeks ago). Also you want Nissan to work out the bugs for the 1st year car, I learned my lesson on my 03

I'm waiting for the Nismo edition this time.. no need to hurry.

Given the economy, do you think you will be able to get any kind of deal on a 370z right away?, or will it be sticker price+?

I could see a few California dealers trying to do markups, but most dealers I see asking sticker for a few months and then see how sales go.

No matter what, the first month of sales will be at MSRP. Then I see prices dropping as inventories build up, and dealers need to move them.

When you call dealers in Nov-December, asking for a 370Z in Jan/Feb delivery, you are pretty much setting yourself up for MSRP.

Althought we might not be the first to own one, we'll be the first to turbo one.

I don't think they will jack up the price with the slow sports car sales. Also, this is just a production car of the 350Z, so nothing out of ordinary. I love the bad economy . It'll expedite the Z purchase for many.

Going to wait for the reviews to come out first and see how the car performs. Plus, new cars could have problems waiting to be tweaked out.

What if I try to buy one in Jan or Feb in the middle of Wisconsin winter? You still think MSRP?

Bad economy should help keep these prices fairly, but selling your existing car or trading it in will make up for the buyer's market so those selling 350Zs to get the 370 may be surprised at how tough the used-car market is right now.
